Nigeria - Northern Cables Processing and Manufacturing Company (NOCACO) hosted its 2025 Customers Forum, bringing together distributors, consultants, associates, and friends. The event was marked by exchange of pleasantries, rewards, and merriment, with guests treated to finest cuisine.
All participating distributors received certificates of partnership, while the top three performers were awarded gifts and recognition for their outstanding performance.
During the forum, distributors raised concerns about the proliferation of fake electrical cables in Nigerian markets, citing negative implications on the economy. Chief Anthony Abiakam and Mr. Sunday Michael, representing the distributors, urged the government and relevant agencies to strictly address the issue of fake cables and wires in circulation. On the part of NOCACO the Managing Director, Dr. Tunde Orija, emphasized the need for collaborative efforts to combat fake products, ensuring only certified products enter the market.
Dr. Orija highlighted the company's commitment to maintaining stable prices despite dollar fluctuations. He disclosed that NOCACO has kept product prices steady over the past year, showcasing its dedication to the industry's growth and stability.
While appreciating NOCACO's product standard and price stability, distributors requested price reductions while maintaining high standards.
The forum underscored the importance of stakeholder collaboration in fighting against fake electrical cables and wires, promoting a safer and more sustainable environment for Nigeria's economic growth.
